Upgrade Your Outdoor Cooking Setup This Summer

By 24th April 2026No Comments

Meet the New RB73 BBQuar, Just in Time for Outdoor Season

With summer on the way, we all know what that means – more time outside, more relaxed evenings, and plenty of outdoor cooking. If you’re looking to upgrade your setup this year, RB73 has just introduced something worth paying attention to: the BBQuar outdoor kitchen.

It’s a solid, well-thought-out piece that combines everything you need in one place. Practical, durable, and good-looking without trying too hard.

A Familiar Base, Built to Last

The BBQuar is built using RB73’s trusted Quaruba CorTen steel profiles (70 x 70 mm), so it already has a strong foundation. Add in the mobile base with swivel wheels and the Quaruba topplate construction, and you’ve got something that’s easy to move but still feels properly robust.

They’ve also added a wooden handlebar with a steel bracket (taken from the Bijuga), which is a nice touch both visually and practically.

A Worktop That Can Handle It

For the work surface, RB73 went with soapstone, a smart choice. It’s tough, handles heat well, and doesn’t show wear easily. Exactly what you want when you’re cooking outside regularly.

Choose the Setup That Suits You

The BBQuar comes in two versions:

BBQuar Kamado

– 58 cm opening

– Soapstone cutting board

– Fits most well-known kamado brands like Big Green Egg, The Bastard, Monolith and Yakaniku

– (Worth noting: Kamado Joe doesn’t fit)

To make sure everything sits securely, there are adjustable sliding brackets with rubber protectors. Once fitted, your kamado is locked in place properly.

BBQuar Closed

– Closed top with the same soapstone finish

– Ideal if you want flexibility such as a pizza oven, electric grill, or even a smaller kamado

Finish Options

Both versions are available:

– Unrusted and unassembled

– Or pre-rusted and fully assembled

So you can choose whether you want it ready to go or prefer to handle the setup yourself.

Availability

These are brand new, so they’re not in the brochure just yet. They’ll be added to the website in the coming weeks.

That said, our supplier already has a small number of units in stock. Once these are gone, the next batch will take a few weeks to produce, so timing matters if you’re hoping to have yours ready for peak summer.

Thinking About Adding One?

If you’re planning to spend more time cooking outside this summer (and let’s be honest, most of us are), the BBQuar fits right in.
