We’re thrilled to showcase one of our top suppliers, Occhio, in their recent project that beautifully combines natural materials with modern design, showcasing how Occhio can complement a range of home interiors.

In this Copenhagen apartment, Scandinavian aesthetics take centre stage, enhanced by warm lighting that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The sensual Occhio luminaires, paired with organically inspired objects, celebrate a tradition that’s deeply rooted in its homeland.

The classic Scandinavian aesthetic is defined by its natural elements, high-quality materials, and calming colour palettes. Sofie Brünner, Creative Director of RUM Magazine, designed a remarkable apartment for Occhio, showcasing a harmonious integration of iconic design pieces, organic textures, and the incomparable style of Occhio lighting.

The portable Sento luminaires serve as modern and striking focal points, enhancing the overall design. Their soft illumination creates a serene ambiance that perfectly complements the tranquility inherent in Scandinavian design.

The balance of contrasts exhibited in wooden tones and sleek lines come together beautifully in this design. A coffee table and shelf by Filippo Andrighetto create a structured framework, allowing the five Luna sospeso pendant luminaires to hover above like a playful cloud drifting through the air. The transparency of the glass globes is complemented by the metallic mesh chairs, enhancing the overall look.
The interplay of contrasts is also apparent in the intricate details. The angular wooden frames on the sideboard draw attention, highlighting the skill of craftsmanship and the allure of nature. At the same time, the io tavolo appears to watch over them, as if it were a guest from another dimension. To the right, the Luna Basso stands out as a small artwork, creating a light island that accentuates its distinctiveness.
