A residential conversion demonstrates this particularly well. The project showcases how different flooring styles can complement the architecture, from characterful herringbone to natural wood and stone-inspired finishes, while maintaining a consistent sense of quality throughout.

Another family renovation used COREtec Egmont flooring together with Forest stairs to create continuity throughout the home. The project centred on a bright, connected living environment, with the flooring carrying the same warm timber character through the main spaces and onto the staircase.

From boutique hospitality to the modern workplace

Where COREtec’s performance credentials become particularly compelling is in commercial interiors.

At Schrofenblick Alpen Resort, an extensive renovation transformed the established Alpine destination into a contemporary luxury retreat. COREtec flooring was used across 29 premium apartments as well as restaurant and wellness spaces, helping combine authentic Tyrolean character with the practical requirements of modern hospitality.

At Michelin-starred Restaurant De Bakermat in Belgium, COREtec replaced traditional parquet, delivering the authentic warmth and appearance of wood alongside the durability, acoustic performance and easy maintenance needed in a busy restaurant environment. Guests have even been known to question whether the flooring is real parquet, a testament to its convincing finish.

COREtec also demonstrates its versatility at Phoenix Fitness, where it has been used within a contemporary gym environment. The project shows how a warm, natural flooring aesthetic can sit comfortably within a more performance-focused commercial interior, creating an inviting contrast to the gym equipment and modern finishes.
