The Story
La Trigale was a full home renovation, with our involvement beginning at an early planning stage nearly four years ago. What started as a discussion around furniture and accessories evolved into a long-term collaboration covering almost every aspect of the interior.

The Challenge
As the architectural plans developed, the project required a joined-up approach to ensure materials, detailing and furnishings worked together. The client’s eclectic taste and the scale of the renovation meant every element, from structural features to finishing touches, needed clear direction and careful execution.

Our Solution
Working alongside the architects and contractor, we delivered a wide scope including bespoke joinery, a statement staircase, oak flooring, custom doors, feature walls, bioethanol fires, lighting and curated furniture. Natural European oak became a unifying material throughout. The result is a highly individual home shaped by strong collaboration, thoughtful detailing and a clear design vision, with the next phase now extending into the exterior spaces.

La Trigale was a full home renovation where the client first approached us early in the planning stage nearly four years ago.  After first expressing interest in our interior furniture and accessories, our client soon realised the extent of our capabilities and began to explore how else she might be able to use our services.

Working closely with us as plans developed, the next couple of years would see the scope of Bonsai’s contribution grow to encompass our full range of offerings including the creation of bespoke joinery, floor coverings, doors and hardware, all the way through to interior furniture, lighting and accessories.

Our client possessed very eclectic tastes, not to mention considerable creative flair, which has made for a hugely rewarding working partnership.  The architects also did an incredible job in reimagining and extending the property and this provided the perfect framework for us to work in.

We had  real fun on this project and the transformation of La Trigale thus far has been truly amazing. Phase two, currently in the design phase, will see the exterior space transformed so we look forward to seeing what may develop there.
